In 2011 we hired Chris Warner to do some decorating work for us at home. At the initial quote stage, Chris was some 60% cheaper than our other recommended supplier.

The key part of the job was to repair and paint the exterior part of a window, but from inside the house - an unusual task that Chris took on with method and professionalism.

Chris worked without fuss or disruption, and was thorough, tidy and delivered an excellent result which has saved us money in the long term. We will be using Warners of Woking again this year and will be recommending him throughout my network.

I would like to put on record the superb service that we have received from you recently.

You regularly carry out work for me at one of our properties, and it is always to a very high standard, but during your recent visit you really went above and beyond.

We contracted you to carry out some external pointing work that needed doing. During your work you discovered a problem with some old pointing that we had not noticed - mainly because it was hidden behind a down pipe. Without any fuss or drama, you repaired the problem after making us aware and showing us what needed doing. You also did this work for no extra charge, even though you had to work on for a few extra hours.

I do not doubt that other less conscientious company's would have either missed the problem, made a drama out of it, or charged extra. Your attitude was very refreshing.

It goes without saying that I would not hesitate to recommend Warners of Woking to anyone.

I'd just like to say a big "Thank You" for the great work done for me on my property recently. It was such a relief to hand over all the property maintenance jobs which we don't have the time (or the ability!) to do, and to know they were in safe hands, with someone who knew what he was doing.

I'd be more than happy to recommend Warners of Woking to anyone looking for property maintenance services, and will also use you again in the future when the need arises.

I consulted Chris Warner to come and look at various jobs around my home. On his first visit I was impressed to find that, whilst assessing what needed doing, Chris had taken it upon himself to repair my gate which had been falling apart by nailing it back together and rehanging it. Chris refused to bill me for this saying it was part of the service he provided.

Chris gave me a very competitive quote to replace some broken fencing in my garden and I decided to employ his services.

On the day he was due to start work Chris rang to let me know what time he would be arriving, he kept me informed of exactly what he would be doing and he gave me progress reports throughout the day. Chris's work was of an excellent standard. He clearly takes great pride in doing a job thoroughly and tidying up as he goes along.

I have already employed Chris again to repair a sunken driveway and I am very pleased with both jobs that Chris has done for me.

I will certainly recommend Chris and Warners of Woking to others and use Chris's services again.

I would like to put on record the superb service I've received from you over the last few months.

You say you're a handy man to know and that you'll clear off those lists of little jobs that never get done. Well in my trade we'd say you're a Ronseal kind of guy, you do exactly what it says on the tin!

My list in question has been reduced significantly due to your efforts. Also by you arranging the jobs to maximise your time, you got through them a lot quicker than I could.

It also must be noted how you returned to sort out my guttering when the initial solution didn't completely solve the problem. This was done without fuss and the problem is now solved.

Over the years I've used a few handy men but none have been as handy as Chris. I would have no hesitation in recommending Warners of Woking and in fact I already have!
